南海トラフ地震の被害額は20年以上で1,466兆円と予測

 建設業界団体は水曜日、今後30年以内に南海トラフで発生すると予測される巨大地震は、20年以上にわたり1,466兆円の経済損失をもたらす可能性があると発表した。 土木学会による最新の推計は、中部地方の太平洋岸から南西に伸びる南海トラフ沿いで発生する巨大地震とそれに伴う津波の分析に基づいている。この数字は、2018年に推定された1,410兆円から4%増加した。 日本政府は3月、南海地震とそれに伴う津波による経済損失が、発生初年度だけで最大292兆円に達する可能性があると推計した。 同協会は、2011年に東日本大震災で壊滅的な被害を受けた東日本大震災の経験を踏まえ、経済の回復には約22年かかると予測している。 同協会は最新の報告書で、道路や堤防の強化など、58兆円以上かかる対策を講じることで、経済被害を31%軽減できると述べている。 また、同協会は、首都直下型巨大地震が発生した場合、経済被害額は1,110兆円と予測している。これは、生活費の高騰を織り込んだ昨年3月の中間報告書で予測した1,001兆円から増加している。 同協会によると、21兆円以上かかる同様の対策を講じることで、東京地震による被害を38%軽減できるという。 イストチニク

TRON：地震の強さ、場所、時刻を正確に予測する技術
